Aviator Training Manager
The position is primary stationed at Aviator HQ, Märsta – Sweden

Line of work
Aviator Training Manager shall ensure that all training in Aviator is according to IATA/ISAGO, AEA and SAE standards, local requirements from authorities and Aviator Training Manual. He/she shall work independently creating new learning/e learning materials and participate in the department's e learning projects involving multiple disciplines.

Reports to: CEO

Work tasks:
• Train the Trainer and support for all local instructors and management.
• Ensure that Aviator has an IATA approved DGR instructor.
• Update and develop training material, Training Manual and secure that all documentation are in accordance with current regulations.
• Ensure that all training in Aviator is carried out in accordance with Training Manual.
• Ensure that all training in Aviator is documented locally and proper documentation and records are used.
• Ensure that the instructors have a valid license according to Aviator Training Manual in area of expertise.
• Communicate new information and routines regarding training to local Training Managers and instructors.
• Help local Training Managers develop local procedures and make sure that all local procedures in Aviator are made in the same form.
• Annual station audits.
• Developing joint training materials and structure for all Nordic countries with a focus on e learning.
• Develop and implement e learning and tests in Netcompetence.


• Long experience in the aviation industry.
• Good knowledge of national and international regulations.
• A natural leader with the desire to communicate knowledge and experience to colleagues.
• Representative.
• Good communication skills, both orally and in writing in the local language as well as in English.
• Understand the importance of maintaining high quality as well as being a good ambassador for the station.
• Responsible, organized and independent.
• Commercial understanding and insight with a mindset to deliver cost-effective training to staff with a high quality.
• Good skills in the use of Word, Power Point etc. to develop training material and e-learning.

Aviator is under continuous development, which often require innovative solutions, good structure, optimal organization and focus on the most cost-effective daily operations as possible.

In addition, common to all work positions:
An irreproachable lifestyle and having no criminal records are requirements for working at the airport, as it is a security controlled area. As an employee one must be able to work during irregular times, such as early morning, evening, weekend and night when it is needed. Changes in working hours may occur with short notice due to the air traffics variability. Possible compensations are given according to contract agreements. Other common features for all employees is a professional and service minded behavior, with good relations between departments and all airport employed colleagues, knowing that we are working with service and are dependent on costumers and passengers positive attitude towards Aviator.
