Joining Northern Region Airlines as a Northern Region Manpower Planner for Cabin Crew, you will become part of the team responsible for the building and maintenance of the manpower plan for the TUI UK & I and the TUI Fly Nordic crew community, including:

o Building granularity on a weekly basis
o Governance of change control
o Consistently maintaining the regulatory compliance of the plan
o Ownership and application of revisions
o Proactive re-planning, analysis of scenarios and future recommendations

You will report directly into the Total Cost of Delivery Manager within your role.
Work in conjunction with Northern Region Pilot Manpower Planner to establish split of seasonal ownership for all inputs, including long haul, short haul, Explorer and be accountable for all outputs relating to Cabin Crew Manpower Planning activities across the Northern Region.

Optimise the profile for initials and re-joiners to balance operational robustness with financial efficiency, whilst ensuring the number of cabin crew in each qualification pool at multi-fleeted bases is in line with operational requirements.

Build, refine and optimise the seasonal manpower plans, highlighting risks, opportunities and recommendations to the relevant stakeholders and the Head of Northern Region Manpower Planning. With the likelihood of undertaking project work and provide inputs into ad-hoc activities across all areas of Manpower Planning as required.

Re-forecast the pricing on a budget totalling c£230m worth of manpower activity, including establishment, training, hotac and travel, allowances and overtime on a monthly basis in conjunction with the finance team.

Identify fact-based recommendations around risks and opportunities within proposed changes to the plan, communicate effectively to senior stakeholders as required in addition to raising risks and opportunities within current and proposed Union agreements, providing analysis to support recommendations, and present to TU groups as required.

Understand and interpret industrial and EASA agreements and their respective planning requirements, applying them to the plan to ensure regulatory compliance at all times within the plan.

Participate in continuous improvement analysis and feedback in the development of the advanced and intermediate manpower plans, taking into account feedback and analysis from the wider Northern Region airline including: The Manpower Planning team, Crew Planning, Commercial, Finance, Flight Ops & Customer Services.

Work collaboratively across the entire Manpower Planning function to ensure a seamless transition across the planning horizons, and the maintenance of the principles of the target operating model, providing input into advanced manpower planning solutions, and Cabin Crew planning development, as required.

Represent the Manpower Planning team at internal meetings as required on an ad-hoc basis to lend expertise, provide and present data, and take actions for further analysis.

- Postgraduate studies in mathematics and english or business experience equivalent
- Strong analytical skills; able to cope with complex and ambiguous variables and tasks
- Strong numeracy skills, with solid financial understanding and commercial acumen
- Excel user with system’s ability and solid MS Office capabilities
- Ability to interpret and understand EASA Regulations, Flight Time Limitations and Industrial Agreements
- Ability to interpret, analyse and effectively communicate complex data
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Team worker with flexible attitude, initiative, resourcefulness, and resilience under pressure
- Able to travel as and when required, mainly but not limited to Nordics and United Kingdom
