SAS Wifi
Hi
I don’t know if this is the right forum for aviation, as I only speak Hungarian and English.
According to a source in Panasonic Avionics, the implementation of Wifi installations on SAS 737 series has come to a holt. The reason is lack of payment from SAS and talks are now for a postponed installation pace.
I know from flyertalk and a.net that the financial situation in SAS is somewhat uncertain. However, does anyone here know if this could be the reason for whats now happening?

This installation is delayed due to the fact that SAS has to install alko-locks on all airplanes. Oh, I am sorry, they have to buy new airplanes as it is not possible to install these locks on their old fleet.
The installations are moving on as planned.
The financial situation in SAS is OK for the time being. Anyone doubting that should read the latest quarterly report in detail.
Sorry for not writing in english. Discovered that i had replied in Swedish when i finished the last sentence. Google translate will be your friend then 😉
Best regards
Interesting information! I have only seen one SAS aircraft with WiFi, Norwegian today have 46…
