The way we work across TUI Group Airlines is changing. Our goal in Flight Operations Procedures is to be a single service provider to TUI Airlines for all operating policies, documentation, performance tools and flight operations support. We will develop and improve compliant and consistent operating policies and procedures for flight and cabin crew and ensure that all other operating manuals documentation are consistent and included in the document management system. The team will also drive best practice in fuel and environment management in order to deliver the TUI Group Sustainable Development objectives.

The main purpose of this role is to provide flight operations engineering expertise in aircraft performance, weight and balance and navigation required for the safe and efficient operation of aircraft.

Working as part of a virtual team of Flight Operations Engineers, you will work to produce common flight operations engineering materials across all airlines and fleet types and in accordance with agreed SLAs.

In addition to common flight operations engineering output, the FOEs will provide additional tailored flight operations engineering service in response to specific requests from the local fleet teams or Director of Flight Operations (DFO).

As part of a customer orientated team, this role will deliver to quality and service standards, and will strive to deliver the TA Flight Operations Procedures vision of a single set of operating manuals for all TUI Airlines, and to build effective processes and ways of working to enable all airlines to operate with common procedures.

- BEng (Mechanical or Aerospace) equivalent or higher essential.
Minimum 3 years previous experience in airline Flight Operations Engineering role.
- Boeing Flight Operations Engineering Course completion desirable (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment with accountability for providing operating performance tools and specs.
- Ability to work to agreed SLAs with multiple customers; evidence of successfully delivering quality outputs to pre-determined standards and timescales.
- Evidence of having been part of continuous improvement activities in complex and regulated environments.
- An effective and energetic team member, working with colleagues to deliver common technical materials to multiple customers.
- Able to balance multiple tasks in a time sensitive way, ensuring service standards are not compromised when meeting challenging deadlines.
- A pro-active customer service agent, who invests in customer relationships, and ensures delivery to customer requirements, relying on team support where appropriate.
- Shows aptitude and desire to keep abreast of industry and regulatory developments; understands how changes outside TUI can affect local technical requirements in the airlines.
- In addition to fluency in the language of the airline in which you will be embedded, Swedish, business English is required and some capacity in other European languages an advantage.
