Are you our new Compliance Monitoring Auditor?
About the role
As the Compliance Monitoring Auditor, you will be responsible for executing the organisation’s risk-based Compliance Monitoring Program by conducting independent audits and inspections to ensure that all activities are performed in accordance with EASA regulations and all applicable company manuals. As well as identifying and mitigating con-compliances.
You will ensure that the Accountable Manager and Nominated Persons receive essential assurance that the organisation’s Compliance Monitoring System is effective and that the regulatory requirements are being met. The ideal candidate has prior experience from an airline environment, as well as formal qualification or training in Management Systems (SMS).

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled compliance audits, inspections, and process reviews across all operational departments and contracted providers.
- Continuously monitoring new updates to regulations relevant to the operation.
- Assess all aspects of the operation for compliance with the applicable EASA regulatory framework and internal company procedures.
- Identify, document, and classify findings and observations; and conduct follow up in accordance with established process.
- Prepare audit reports detailing findings and associated regulatory references for distribution.
- Liaise with department heads to ensure the submission of timely root cause analysis and action plans.
- Proactively track the implementation and completion of CAPs, performing follow-up audits as necessary to verify the effectiveness of actions taken.
- Assist the Lead Auditor and Compliance Monitoring Manager in preparing for and facilitating external audits conducted by the Civil Aviation Authorities.
- Maintain audit records, checklists, and evidence in the company’s compliance management software.
- Support in the continuous development of the Compliance Monitoring Program, including revision of audit checklists, contributing to the improvement of compliance monitoring process.
- Actively promote positive compliance and safety culture throughout the organization.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Aviation, Aeronautics, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related technical field) is desirable.
- Alternatively, a proven minimum of 3 years’ experience within an operational aviation area (e.g., Flight Operations, Ground Operations, CAMO, Part-145, ATO)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation compliance, quality assurance, or internal audit role is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the EASA regulatory framework
- Solid understanding of aviation management systems
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Norwegian and additional language is considered an advantage.
- Onsite presence at our main office in Fornebu, Oslo is required.
- You have no criminal background
Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and precise reports.
- Personal integrity and the ability to maintain strict independence, confidentiality, and objectivity
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of English (written and oral)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and compliance management software
Auditor authorization will be granted in accordance with the Compliance Department’s assessment and authorization procedure
