FBO RAMP AGENT

Allied Aero Services handles the majority of business and private charter flights visiting Malmö and the surrounding areas. We are a small family-owned business located at Malmö Airport. At Allied Aero, you will take care of passengers and crew from all over the world. We work closely with several large international private charter airlines.

You will work at Malmö Airport, both in our landside premises and airside. Malmö Airport is an international airport open 24/7 and actively works to be an attractive airport with efficient service for customers in the private and business aviation sector.

The services we provide are carried out in a security-controlled area, which requires a criminal record check and proof of work or studies from the past five years.

The airlines are our customers, and we strive to meet their needs through good collaboration, high delivery commitment, and solid knowledge of Ground Handling.

WHAT DOES A DAY LOOK LIKE?

Your role at ALLIED AERO will be a combination of Office Agent and Ramp Agent or only Ramp Agent, working closely with the staff you’re scheduled with during your shift. You will work directly with high-class customer service and have a responsible and varied job in a growing company. You work with what is happening in the here and now.

The work is shift-based, including daytime, evenings, nights, and weekends. Tasks vary from day to day, primarily depending on the number of arrivals and departures.

Your main tasks as an Office Agent include:

• Monitoring email and phone

• Confirming and booking “handling requests”

• Updating ADO with changes in the flight schedule

• Booking cars and drivers for “Tarmac Access” with Security

• Assisting customers (passengers and flight crews) with whatever help they may need

• Welcoming visitors to the VIP Lounge, offering refreshments, etc.

• Coordinating work with ramp staff

• Handling catering orders, hotel and taxi bookings

Your main tasks as a Ramp Agent include:

• Organizing and planning your shift

• Completing checklists

• Receiving and “coning” incoming flights

• Coordinating third-party services at the airport, such as: De-Icing, Fuelling etc.

• Performing lavatory services

• Transferring crew airside <-> landside

• Transferring passengers airside <-> landside

• Providing high-quality customer service

• Maintaining a strong focus on safety

Additionally, you are expected to:

• Maintain facility cleanliness and appearance.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in service roles

• Previous experience in Ground Handling is a plus

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

• Good computer skills (experience with FBO_ONE is a plus)

• You hold a B driver’s license

• Access to a car to reach the workplace at all hour

We conduct selections and interviews on an ongoing basis. Before the interview, you will need to bring a criminal record check and documents verifying your activities over the past five years. We review this since the role is performed in a security-controlled area, and in the event of employment, a security clearance will be conducted by Swedavia.
