About Us
Norwegian Aero Solutions AS was established in August 2024 by the main shareholders from the Kjos and Østnes families. Bjørn Kjos is known as the founder of the airline Norwegian, and Østnes as owners of Kjell A Østnes AS, a supplier and distributor of helicopter parts since 1993.
NAS is based in modern facilities at Eggemoen Airport, home to the Eggemoen Aviation and Technology Park, just 50 minutes from Gardermoen (OSL). NAS provides maintenance services for Leonardo AW139, AW169, and AW189 helicopters, with a focus on the Nordic and European markets.
We are now looking for skilled and motivated Helicopter Technicians to join our growing team and support safe and efficient maintenance operations at Eggemoen.
Job Description
As a Helicopter Technician, you will carry out maintenance on Leonardo helicopters in accordance with approved procedures and regulatory requirements. You will be part of a professional maintenance team and contribute to the airworthiness and availability of customer aircraft. The position reports to the Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on helicopters
· Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems
· Ensure compliance with EASA Part-145 regulations and company procedures
· Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports
· Use and maintain tools, equipment, and facilities in accordance with safety and quality standards
· Cooperate closely with planners, engineers, and fellow technicians
· Participate in continuous improvement of maintenance processes
Requirements
· Valid EASA Part-66 AML with B1.3 and/or B2 category
· Practical experience in helicopter maintenance
· Good English skills, both written and spoken
· Sound knowledge of aviation regulations and maintenance practices
· Familiarity with maintenance IT systems (preferably Gannet 3)
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications
· Type ratings for Leonardo AW139, AW169, and/or AW189. B1.3 and/or B2
· Fluency in a Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish)
· Experience with offshore helicopter operations
· Education in aviation maintenance or engineering
· Understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and ISO 9001/14001
