Maintenance Operational Control to Braathens
Publicerad den 10 februari 2026Braathens Regional Airways is currently seeking Maintenance Controllers to join our Technical Department based at Stockholm-Arlanda, Sweden.
In this role you will be part of the daily technical operation, ensuring fleet airworthiness, coordinating maintenance activities, and supporting operational continuity. The position involves close collaboration with internal teams, external maintenance providers, CAMO, Operations, and other stakeholders to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant aircraft operations.
You will act as a maintenance supervisor for both in-house and contracted CRS personnel, monitor aircraft status including deferred defects and MEL items, and support troubleshooting activities when needed. The role also includes managing AOG situations, coordinating recovery actions, and minimizing operational impact from technical events. Administrative tasks such as maintaining shift logs, updating AMOS events, and ensuring proper maintenance records are an important part of the daily work.
Key responsibilities include:

Monitoring aircraft technical status and ensuring timely completion of planned maintenance

Coordinating with maintenance providers, engineering, CAMO, and operations

Supporting troubleshooting and AOG recovery activities, including complex cases when required

Ensuring maintenance actions are performed according to approved procedures and programs

Performing release to service, issuing EASA Form 1 when applicable, and maintaining accurate records

Leading daily aircraft status coordination meetings and maintaining operational communication

Supporting spare parts logistics, subcontractor coordination, and general technical follow-up
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with solid technical experience and a structured approach to maintenance coordination. You should hold a valid EASA Part-66 license, preferably with ATR72 rating, and have at least five years’ CRS experience on similar aircraft types. Strong communication and coordination skills, analytical ability, and the capacity to remain calm in a dynamic operational environment are essential.
Fluency in English, a valid driving licence, and the ability to pass Swedish aviation security background checks and hold a valid EU work permit are required. Experience in leadership roles and familiarity with AMOS, PDC, or ATR maintenance documentation are considered advantageous.
