About Us

Norwegian Aero Solutions AS was established in August 2024 by the main shareholders from the Kjos and Østnes families. Bjørn Kjos is known as the founder of the airline Norwegian, and Østnes as owners of Kjell A Østnes AS, a supplier and distributor of helicopter parts since 1993.

NAS is based in modern facilities at Eggemoen Airport, home to the Eggemoen Aviation and Technology Park, just 50 minutes from Gardermoen (OSL). NAS provides maintenance services for Leonardo AW139, AW169, and AW189 helicopters, with a focus on the Nordic and European markets.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead our helicopter maintenance operations at Eggemoen and ensure our aircraft are maintained to the highest standards.

Job Description

As the Production Manager, you will lead together with the team the planning, coordination, and execution of all maintenance activities. You will ensure compliance with aviation regulations, manage production schedules, and support a team of dedicated technicians and engineers in a dynamic operational environment. The Production Manager reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily helicopter maintenance operations
• Ensure full compliance with EASA and national aviation regulations
• Coordination with the customer
• Monitor and optimize Hangar visit Plan and turnaround times
• Maintain oversight of maintenance documentation, tooling, and inventory
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure airworthiness of all aircraft
• Lead, mentor, and support a skilled team of technicians and support staff

Requirements

• Valid EASA Part-66 AML with B1.3 and/or B2 category
• Proven experience in helicopter maintenance and team leadership
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong understanding of aviation maintenance regulations, procedures, and safety standards
• Proficient with maintenance management software (preferable Gannet 3)
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage time-critical maintenance activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Type ratings for Leonardo AW139, AW189 and AW169 included in the Part-66 AML
• Fluency in a Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish)
• Prior offshore helicopter operations experience
• Degree or diploma in aviation maintenance or engineering
• Familiarity with SMS (Safety Management Systems) and ISO 9001/14001
