Resource Coordinator – Aircraft Maintenance
Are you ready to take flight in your career? Join our dynamic team as a Resource Coordinator within our Aircraft Maintenance division and play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, safety, and workforce readiness across our fleet.
At Scandinavian Airlines, we are dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency in aircraft maintenance. We are looking for a Resource Coordinator to join our team at Arlanda Airport where we maintain SAS fleet of A320, A330 and A350.
About the role
As Resource Coordinator, you will be planning, allocating, and optimizing personnel resources to support aircraft maintenance operations. A key part of your role will also include coordinating training activities to ensure that all team members maintain the required certifications and are equipped with the latest technical knowledge and skills.
You’ll work closely with maintenance teams, planners, and leadership to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks while maintaining compliance with aviation standards and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
The team consists of two colleagues, a Resource Manager and a Resource Coordinator. You will be based in the Arlanda hangar and report to the Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage resource plans to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Plan and coordinate technical and regulatory training for maintenance personnel.
• Participate in daily and weekly meetings and reviews
• Union activity – dialogue with unions regarding shift patterns, use of contractors etc.
• Generate and maintain reports on resource allocation, training status, and operational performance.
• Address and resolve any issues or delays in the resource process.
Personal abilities
• Communicating skills at a high level.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• You are structured, analytical and have the possibility to see the bigger picture.
• Understanding the risks involved in aircraft maintenance.
Minimum requirements
• Upper secondary school diploma.
• Experience in resource or operations management, preferably in aviation or technical environments.
• Experience from a similar position.
• Driver license for car.
• Ability to speak and understand at least one of the Scandinavian languages.
• Good English communication skills, English is the primary language.
• High proficiency in IT.
The ideal candidate will have
• Experience from the aviation industry.
• Previous experience from using Amos.
• Knowledge of EASA P145 regulations.
