SAS CAMO Organization
SAS CAMO is composed of Continued Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) accountable for the continuing airworthiness of the SAS fleet and includes the functions Contracts, Engineering, Maintenance Planning & Control and Aircraft Transfer.?

The Contracts function within SAS CAMO is responsible for contracting and contract management of all out-sourced maintenance, including airframe, components and engines maintenance. The Contracts function employs 5 people working closely with the rest of CAMO, Finance and Strategic Sourcing and suppliers.

Contract Manager Components

As our new Components Contract Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the components maintenance support contracts and manage contractual relationships with the suppliers at both strategic and tactical level.
As member of the contract team your primary task is to create maximum value for SAS through excellent practices within business analysis, sourcing, benchmarking, negotiations and supplier management. Our challenge and roadmap for the next 1-3 years is to develop our Contracts function into a best practice unit, a journey we expect you to be a major contributor to.

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring candidate with relevant background from the aviation industry, or other equivalent experience in the machinery or transport industry. Potential candidates have documented experience working at a strategic level and proven success working with large contracts. You will need to have continuous focus and drive towards reducing cost through good working practices and expertise.

Skills and experience
- University degree within engineering, business administration, finance, aviation or similar
- Documented minimum three years of experience in a position working with larger technical components, preferably from an aviation company, a process industry company or similar
- Experience of managing large contracts with suppliers and internal stakeholders, initiating cost saving programs and budget processes
- Documented experience from contract negotiations
- Practical experience in business transformations and change
- Experience with analytics, analyze databases and to build scenarios and simulations
- Experience from Supply chain management
- Excellent skills and experience in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Practical experience of working with AMOS

Important information
The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden at the SAS headquarters at Frösundavik. Travel is to be expected as part of the job.
