At Avincis, safety is at the heart of everything we do. We are now looking for a Safety & Compliance Monitoring Officer to support and strengthen our Safety Management and Compliance activities within our Nordic Part-145 maintenance organizations. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and international aviation environment and contribute directly to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across our Nordic maintenance operations. 

Location: The preferred location for this position is Sweden. However, for the right candidate, remote working arrangements may be considered within Norway, or Finland. 

About the role 
As Safety & Compliance Officer, you will support the Safety Director Nordics in the day-to-day management of safety and compliance activities within the Nordic Part-145 organization. The role is focused on administration, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement of safety management and compliance processes. 

The Nordic Part-145 organization currently includes Base and Line Maintenance Operations in Sweden, Norway, and Finland, with potential future expansion into Denmark. Working within a complex multi-country regulatory environment, you will play an important role in ensuring effective oversight, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience.
 
This role reports directly to the Safety Director Nordics.  

Key Responsibilities: 
• Safety Management & Compliance Monitoring 
• Support the daily operation of the Safety Management System (SMS) and Compliance Monitoring Programme within the Nordic Part-145 organization. 
• Assist in monitoring safety performance, compliance activities, and associated reporting requirements. 
• Support the continuous development and improvement of safety management processes, procedures, and documentation. 
• Assist with the administration and maintenance of safety and compliance manuals and associated documentation. 
• Support compliance with applicable EASA regulations, company procedures, and internal standards. 

Occurrence Management & Risk Assessment 
• Support occurrence reporting processes, investigations, and safety follow-up activities. 
• Coordinate and follow up Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), including verification of implementation and effectiveness. 
• Assist with hazard identification, risk assessments, and risk management activities. 
• Support trend analysis and safety performance monitoring activities. 
• Contribute to Management of Change (MoC) activities where applicable. 

Audits, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Support internal audits, authority inspections, and external assessments. 
• Assist with safety and compliance reporting, statistics, and performance indicators. 
• Prepare reports and presentations for management reviews and safety meetings. 
• Participate in departmental and organizational improvement projects as agreed with the Safety Director Nordics and Accountable Managers. 
• Contribute to maintaining a strong Just Culture and non-punitive safety environment throughout the organization. 

Who We Are Looking For 
We are seeking an experienced aviation professional with a strong background in Part-145 maintenance and Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAMO), combined with a genuine interest in aviation safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. 
You have experience working in highly regulated aviation environments and understand the operational, maintenance, and regulatory challenges associated with maintaining compliance across multiple approvals and jurisdictions. You are structured and analytical, enjoy solving problems, and can work effectively both independently and collaboratively across functions and countries.

Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for candidates with: 
• Previous experience within an EASA Part-145 maintenance organisation. 
• Experience working within a CAMO environment or with continuing airworthiness management processes. 
• Good knowledge of EASA regulations and aviation regulatory frameworks. 
• Knowledge and understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and risk management principles. 
• Previous experience or training relating to risk assessment, risk management, and occurrence reporting. 
• Experience with compliance monitoring, auditing activities, or regulatory oversight processes. 
• Good understanding of aviation maintenance processes and continuing airworthiness requirements. 
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and digital reporting tools. 
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. 

The following would be considered an advantage: 
• Experience with aviation occurrence reporting systems and safety databases. 
• Auditor training or previous audit experience. 
• Experience working in multi-site or multi-country aviation organisations. 
• Knowledge of Nordic aviation authority oversight environments.
