We’re now seeking a skilled and driven ATA System Engineer to join our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) team. Could it be you?

About the Role: ATA System Engineer

As an ATA System Engineer, you will work in accordance with EASA Part CAMO regulations to ensure the safety, airworthiness, and reliability of our aircraft. You will play a central role in the continuous improvement and optimization of our maintenance programs and technical systems, focusing on system performance and reliability across the entire fleet.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking CAMO team dedicated to maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all applicable airworthiness directives (ADs), regulations, and OEM recommendations.
• Analyze and assess technical modifications and improvements related to aircraft system reliability.
• Evaluate and implement changes to maintenance intervals and procedures.
• Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, and other technical partners.
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics (KPIs) and cost-effectiveness of contracted MRO services.
• Participate in RFP processes and contract negotiations.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and innovation of Braathens’ technical systems.

Your Qualifications:

• A degree in Aeronautical Engineering or EASA Part-66 certification.
• Strong knowledge of EASA regulations (Part M, Part CAMO, and Part-145).
• Experience working with repairs, modifications, airworthiness directives (ADs), and service bulletins (SBs).
• Familiarity with aeronautical maintenance documentation and systems.
• Solid IT skills and proficiency in relevant software.
• Experience in contract negotiation and supplier management is a plus.
• Previous experience with MMIS AMOS is advantageous.
• Knowledge of compliance management systems is beneficial.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Swedish.

Position Details:

• Location: Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) or Malmö Sturup (MMX), with occasional travel between locations.
• Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position.
• Probationary Period: 6 months.
• Start Date: As agreed.
• Eligibility: You must have the legal right to work in Sweden. Employment is subject to a background check approved by the Swedish CAA and police authorities.
