We’re now looking for a CAMO Project Engineer who wants to be part of a dynamic and future-focused team. Could that be you?
About the Role: CAMO Project Engineer
As a CAMO Project Engineer, you’ll be part of our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), working in compliance with EASA Part CAMO regulations to ensure the airworthiness, safety, and reliability of our aircraft.
This role focuses on leading and supporting larger technical projects — such as fleet-wide modifications and aircraft inductions — and serving as the CAMO point of contact across departments. You’ll have a key role in maintaining operational excellence and driving technical innovation throughout our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate large-scale CAMO-related projects across the organization
- Manage technical and airworthiness aspects of new aircraft integration
- Ensure implementation of airworthiness directives (ADs) and regulatory compliance
- Evaluate and implement modifications, reliability enhancements, and procedural changes
- Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for seamless project execution
- Monitor contracted MROs in terms of cost control and KPI performance
- Support RFP processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management
Your Profile:
We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications and experience:
- A degree in Aeronautical Engineering or certification under EASA Part-66
- Solid knowledge of EASA regulations (Part M, Part CAMO, Part-145)
- Experience with repairs, modifications, ADs, and service bulletins (SBs)
- Proficiency in using and interpreting aeronautical maintenance documentation
- Demonstrated experience in project management of complex technical initiatives
- Strong IT and system skills
- Experience with contract negotiations and supplier follow-up (advantageous)
- Knowledge of MMIS AMOS and compliance management systems (advantageous)
- Fluent in both English and Swedish, written and spoken
- Right to work in the EU
Who You Are:
- Structured and analytical with excellent problem-solving abilities
- A confident project leader who drives progress and fosters teamwork
- Independent and proactive, yet highly collaborative
- An excellent communicator who can navigate across departments and external partners
- Always striving to improve processes and outcomes
- Someone who believes work should be both meaningful and enjoyable
- Willing to travel occasionally and represent Braathens in a professional manner
What We Offer:
At Braathens, you’ll be part of an inclusive and forward-thinking work culture where collaboration and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you’ll have real influence over technical processes and day-to-day decision-making.
As part of your employment, you’ll also enjoy access to discounted air travel through the MyIDTravel platform.
Position Details:
- Location: Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) or Malmö Sturup (MMX)
- Travel: Some travel between locations is required
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Probationary Period: 6 months
- Start Date: By agreement
- Eligibility: You must have the legal right to work in Sweden. Employment is subject to a background check approved by the Swedish CAA and police authorities.
