Tråden startades av Mike

Hi all
Sorry but my swedish is not very good but have a questian.

Wonder what powersettings (N1) and pitch I should use to maintain 5000feet with 250 kt

And if I should climb or decent from 5000 to maintain speed with 30 deg bank what is the power and pitch setting then?

THANKS

Never use pitch/thrust figures as hard facts, use them as a ball park figure and finetune from there when you see what your IAS is doing when level and configured. Usually the quickest and easiest way to spot a trend.
Chasing degrees in pitch or percents of thrust usually just gets you in trouble.
Set thrust and when the speed stabilizes at the figure you want after finetuning thrust note the pitch and keep it. Remember that banking requires thrust and elevator + trim to maintain level and speed. Established pitch and thrust for level flight require small corrections to establish you in a smooth transition for climb or descent with very conservative trim inputs.
Good Luck!
and you can disregard oneliner dickheads commenting on your languageskills as well of course…

Mike, your English is not too good, either.

For Level flight below 10,000 ft about 60% N1 should give you 250 kts, pitch for 5-6 degrees. To descend or climb with 1000fpm add or subtract 10%. Regarding the turn I don’t know. Anyways it differs with different weights.
