I am a foreign pilot and my girlfriend and I are looking to relocate back to Sweden. My Swedish is not up to speed yet, but I am looking for possible flying opportunities. Preferably around Stockholm, however, we are flexible if it lands me my first flying position in Sweden. I hold an EASA ATPLH MEIR and a CPLA MEIR with most of my experience focussed on military helicopter flying.
All suggestions and leads are much appreciated.

Tack så mycket!

You might give Leap or as we like to say "old nextjet" a chance!

SAS is never looking for pilots. Just see here at "PLATSANNONSER" or the contractors SAS is never look for pilots. There is no big airline companies in Sweden either. No jobs on aircraft bigger than 20 seats!

När skaffade SAS helikoptrar? Klivet från att fly helikopter till "fixed wing" är stort. V.s.v.

I know nothing about helicopters but the airlines are constantly recruiting.
SAS will hire 200 pilots this winter mostly in Stockholm and Oslo. This also opens up positions in smaller airlines like BRA, Amapola, Air Leap, Nordica, City Jet.

If you learn a bit of understandable Swedish and with previous military experience you will have a very good chance with SAS. However I would start with contacting Nordica and Cityjet since they only require English. Quick command opportunities and quite good pay.

There are no jobs in Sweden. I have been looking for the past 2 years with no success. Be ready to relocated anywhere within EASA-land, if you are lucky!

Commute or do not go at all, it is as simple as that.

Air Leap is expanding. Right now they are looking for type rated ATR pilots. I would send the application anyway even if you are not rated.

Airleap base is ARN.
