Scandinavian Aviation Academy förvärvar i Danmark

ACQUIRES 51% OF SIMCENTER COPENHAGEN
Scandinavian Aviation Academy AB in Sweden has from January 28, 2006, acquired 51% of the shares in SimCenter Copenhagen A/S, Denmark.
The other 49% is owned by three private Danish investors. All three of them has a background in aviation and two of them is still active in an airline.
The SimCenter is located close to Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen. Today there are one B727 and one DC10 simulator. The B727 simulator is the only one in use in Europe and the customers comes primarily from Africa and Middle East. The DC10 simulator is mainly used for events.
The SimCenter will during 2006 invest in Full Flight Simulators in the narrow body segment and will also look in to investing in simulators in the business-jet segment.
The Simcenter´s aim is to be a low cost training center for pilot´s and cabin personnel.
Acquiring SimCenter Copenhagen will strengthen SAA Group´s position as a major training provider as the Group now will be able to offer training from Private Pilot Licence to Type Ratings including line training.
