Which school to choose?
Hey, my name’s Daniel and I’ve been accepted to two different pilot educations.
Anyways, my reflection to this is if someone knows if there’s a big difference in finding jobs after your graduation due to which school you went to?
Thanks in advance.
Daniel.

Thanks a lot for your comment Markus. They’re both integrated educations actually so then I suppose I’ll just choose the cheapest one since there should be no difference and it’s still the same certificate.
Doesnt matter. What does matter is if its modular or integrated. A integrated track will increase your chances
Thanks a lot guys!
I appreciate that you take your time and effort to answer me!
Actually both of the schools where I’ve passed the skill test to enter are self funded.
One’s located in Norway and one is located in Sweden pretty close to where I live and there’s quite a big price difference between them therefore my concern.
But since it’s still the same certificate it shouldn’t matter from which one I graduated..?
Thanks again,
Daniel.
No big differences.. though it might be more prestige to graduate from a government school but those require that your a nordic speaker. Also its hard to get selected to those, a lot of aptitude testing requiring you to be very bright.
In the end your personality and flying skillz is all that matters.
In short. If it’s a private school where you self fund the education. The answer is no. If it’s government funded like the Swedish “YH-programmet” you will have better chances but still no guarantees.
Study Systems engineering, computer science or informatics. Then you can afford to get a CPL on your spare time, support your flying hobby, and also fly as a passenger wherever and whenever you want.
Thanks a lot for your answer och for taking your time to guide me.
I appreciate it.

Hej Daniel.
When you say you have been accepted, remember that the schools are commercial.
Everyone will accept anybody.
There are two flying schools that give an (almost) guaranteed career, Lufthansa and KLM:

http://www.pilootworden.nl
NO Swedish school is so attached to an airline, so, simply, just take the education that cost less.
There are 17 ATO in Sweden:

Call them all and ask.
Cheapest, (and biggest?), is South Sweden School of Aeronautics.

And, congrats to your choice of career, becoming a pilot is something I have never regretted.

Daniel take the one that promise you the highest salary after your education.
Nice that someone promise you a job after education, just take the one with the highest salary.
Then after some years you have more experience on this type and then the market is maybe looking some bette for you?
